Funds will be used to leverage property acquired by Portland State University as part off the South Corridor light-rail project for joint development of student housing and university classroom and administrative space. This shovel-ready construction project will support access and expansion of higher education resources, transit use, safe transit stations, and wise use of land served by transit, jumpstarting efforts to increase employment and continue to build an educated workforce.
