Funds the creation of 9.9 miles of pedestrian/bike trails that connect the cities of Newberg and Dundee along the Willamette River and run into the cities themselves.  The accessible paved trails will provide the first-ever safe route to school for Dundee Elementary and Edwards Elementary students who choose to walk or bike.  The trail will also introduce the public to the benefits of walking and riding bikes instead of driving and and serve as a sustainable mode of transportation, making these communities more livable and encouraging further investment and economic development.  The trails will be 8 feet wide so that bikes and pedestrians can easily share the space and will serve as the first phase of a 29.7 mile trail project.
