Funds an extension of the street car line approximately 6.5 miles south from the South Waterfront district (at SW Bancroft St.) of Portland’s central city to downtown Lake Oswego (several termini locations are under consideration) with approximately ten stops along the way, primarly using the Willamette Shore Line right-of-way. Stops would provide access to the SW Macadam business corridor and adjacent residential neighborhoods before reaching downtown Lake Oswego. Project includes the purchase of new streetcar vehicles, which are likely to be manufactured in the U.S., and the construction of up to 400 park-and-ride spaces at the terminus in downtown Lake Oswego.
