Supports authorization to develop a locally preferred alternative for future major transit investments in the 99W/Barbur Blvd corridor from Portland to Tigard and Sherwood. The Highway 99W/Barbur Boulevard corridor is a mobility corridor of regional significance. It parallels the heavily traveled I-5 highway and currently serves approximately 10,000 transit riders daily with buses. This project would significantly improve transit operating efficiencies in the corridor and provide greater regional mobility with fast and reliable transit service.
