WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Mike Rogers invites all local citizens interested in learning more about home ownership options to the Greater Macon County Home Ownership and Housing Fair on May 29th in Tuskegee.
Rogers said he hopes the housing seminar will help provide interested local citizens information about some of the options available for helping folks purchase a home.
"Owning a home is part of the American dream," said Rogers. "I hope this seminar will be informative for interested local citizens looking to purchase a home."
Rogers said his office is encouraging local realtors and mortgage providers to attend, and has also confirmed the attendance of representatives from the Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA); the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA - Rural Development).
The event will take place at Booker T. Washington High School in Tuskegee, and will run from 10:00am to 12:00pm. For more information on participation or attendance, citizens should call Rogers' Montgomery office at (334) 277-4210. The seminar is free and open to the public.
