These funds will help preserve and maintain the buses and other equipment that help riders arrive to their destinations safely and quickly. I’m pleased to see Jonesboro receive this federal assistance and I remain committed to helping our state access the resources and support we need,” said Lincoln.

“Transportation and economic development go hand in hand,” Pryor said.  “These federal dollars for JETS’ administrative maintenance facility will help keep Jonesboro’s transportation system operating efficiently and safely, and that’s good for the local economy.”

“Investing in local infrastructure is always critical for local economic development,” said Berry.  “This funding will give provide for a new and improved facility to help ensure that residents have a safe and efficient option for public transportation.”
