(Washington, D.C.) U.S. Representative Mike Ross (AR-04) announced Monday that he has hired Camden native Ashlee Nicole Johnson, to serve as his new Staff Assistant in his Washington, D.C., Congressional Office.
“Throughout my years representing Arkansas’s Fourth Congressional District in Washington, I have been fortunate to hire talented district residents as members of my Congressional team,” Ross said. “I am proud to welcome Ashlee to my staff, and believe that her work ethic and numerous talents make her a great asset to the people who call Arkansas’s Fourth Congressional District home.”
As Ross’ Staff Assistant, some of Johnson’s responsibilities will include coordinating tours of the U.S. Capitol for constituents visiting Washington, managing constituent mail operations and coordinating Ross’ Congressional Internship Program.
“I am excited about joining Ross’ Congressional team and honored to work with residents of Arkansas’s Fourth Congressional District, which is also my home district,” Johnson said. “Working in Washington, D.C., has been a lifelong goal of mine and I am grateful for this tremendous opportunity.”
Johnson graduated from Camden Fairview High School in 2001 and attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she recently received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Johnson is the daughter of Gwen J. O’Guinn of Camden, Arkansas. Johnson previously worked in Bentonville, Arkansas, as a Service Representative at Wal-Mart’s Home Office, a job she left to join Ross’ Washington, D.C., Congressional team.
