Ross, Lincoln, Pryor Announce
$690,000 for
Southern Financial Partners

(Washington, D.C.) U.S. Representative Mike Ross (AR-04) along with Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, announced today that Southern Financial Partners will receive a $690,000 grant through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Community Services.

Funds from the grant will be used to build a child care facility at the Clark County Industrial Park.  This facility will serve companies that are located in the park and be used as a tool to attract new companies.

“Rural Economic Development Grants provide necessary tools to help our towns and communities grow and prosper,” Ross said. “I am proud to join with my colleagues to announce this vital funding for Southern Financial Partners to build a child care facility at the Clark County Industrial Park to assist our working families, and increase the economic development opportunities for the region.”

“This child care facility will provide a great relief to our working families and help the Clark County Industrial Park bring in new business,” said Lincoln.  “With these federal dollars, Southern Financial Partners will be able to continue its positive work in community development.”

“This child care facility is a smart investment that will assist hardworking parents, while also increasing productivity at Clark County Industrial Park,” said Pryor.  “I commend Southern Financial Partners for seeking this important funding and putting families first.”
