Congressman Faleomavaega announced today that Nauru has sent a message of support to the people of American Samoa in the aftermath of the devastating tsunami that struck the U.S. Territory on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. 

The full text of Nauru’s letter is included below:

Dear Congressman Faleomavaega,

I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to you and the people of American Samoa for the tragic loss of life and devastation caused by the recent tsunami that has affected American Samoa. The thoughts and prayers of the people of Nauru are with you as you work towards recovery after this disaster.
