“I am pleased to announce that the Page Fire Department has been selected to receive this grant to improve its response capabilities,” said Congressman Renzi.  “Page firefighters work heroically everyday to protect the city’s residents, tourists, and property. I look forward to continuing to work with local officials to improve the quality of life for all the people of Page.”

This grant can be used to fund training, firefighting equipment, personal protective equipment, wellness and fitness, health and safety modifications, and firefighting vehicles for the Page Fire Department. This grant is a part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to strengthen the Nation’s overall level of preparedness and ability to respond to fire related hazards.
