UC Merced Medical School Media Availability
What: Congressman Cardoza and Congressman Jim Costa will join the Valley Coalition for a UC Merced Medical School in announcing significant news related to the development of UC Merced Medical.
Where: Doctors Medical Center, 1441 Florida Avenue, Modesto.
When: 11:30 am., Thursday February 19.

Dairy Meeting
What: Congressman Cardoza will meet with various stakeholders in the California dairy industry.
Where: Doubletree, 1150 Ninth Street, Modesto.
When: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Thursday February 19.

Saturday, February 21
Day of Remembrance Dinner
What: Congressman Cardoza will join the Japanese American Citizen League at its annual dinner, along with Congressman Mike Honda. As a young boy, Congressman Honda had passed through the Merced County Fairgrounds when his family was interned during World War II. Congressman Cardoza will discuss his recent bill that passed the House of Representatives and declares the fairgrounds a memorial site in remembrance of it serving as an intake location for Japanese-Americans being sent to internment camps during the war.
