Van Nuys, CA - Congressman Howard L. Berman is encouraging local veterans to attend an upcoming Job Fair and Resume Workshop that has been organized by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.  The event, which is being held this Friday, April 13, brings together several public and private employers from across LA County and also offers writing assistance to veterans who want to improve their resumes.

“As a country, we’ve made a commitment to take care of our veterans, and I’m proud that we’re doing our part here in Los Angeles County to fulfill that promise,” said Rep. Berman.  “Our veterans have served with distinction, and we should honor that service by making the best effort to ensure that they never join the ranks of the unemployed.”
