Washington, D.C. - The non-partisan
Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report today crediting the
Recovery Act with up to 2.8 million jobs.
The
report shows that in the first quarter of 2010, the
Recovery Act increased the number of people employed by between 1.2 million and 2.8 million.
Thanks to the
Recovery Act, we are finally headed in the right direction - but there is still much work to be done.
Congress is expected to consider
legislation soon that will promote American jobs, provide relief for working families, close tax loopholes, and maintain fair payments to doctors.
