It is crucial that whatever proposal ultimately advances protects American taxpayers, holds Wall Street accountable and achieves the goal of stabilizing our financial markets. As I said yesterday, ultimately, the devil will be in the details that are still being crafted and the Congress should stay in session as long as it takes to get it right.”
