The House Small Business Committee, chaired by Rep. Nydia Velazquez, held a hearing on “Financial and Economic Challenges Facing Small Businesses” on October 28, 2008.
At the hearing, Rep. Velazquez also released a new report prepared by the committee, entitled “Small Business Economic Outlook: Assessing Current Conditions and Challenges to Growth.” This report examines the effects of the current financial crisis on small businesses.
