The U.S. House Committee on Financial Services Web site provides a close look at the financial markets rescue plan that was developed by House and Senate negotiators in Washington, D.C. and released on Sunday, September 28, 2008.
The committee's Web site contains the text of the plan, called the "Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008," as well as a summary of the act and an analysis of each section of the proposed legislation.
