New structure to better serve Illinois’ redrawn 15th District |
|
| Champaign, IL… The counties of
Coles and Wabash will house Congressman Tim Johnson’s (IL-15) two newest
District offices. Rep. Johnson has established these spaces to better
serve constituents in the southern portions of the redrawn 15th District.
“Addressing the day-to-day concerns of my constituents is really the essence of public service,” noted Johnson. “District offices, combined with my continuous mobile office program allow me to broaden my presence at any given time. They provide residents a place to go to find answers and solutions when they are having problems with the federal government. Whether it is an underpayment from the IRS, a problem getting a passport, or a question about a new farm program, my staff and myself are ready to help. I encourage constituents in the new parts of the 15th District to visit my office in Mt. Carmel or Charleston for these or any other reasons. I will have full-time staff at a each location willing and able to assist with a variety of concerns.” Rep. Johnson’s two newest office locations will soon be open and operating on a full-time basis. Charleston is expected to be fully functional by January 8, 2003, while Mt. Carmel will be operational in the very near future. The addresses for each location follow: Charleston
Mt. Carmel
In addition to his establishment of two new District offices, Rep. Johnson noted that his Washington address has recently changed. Constituents visiting Johnson at the Capitol, or mailing him a letter will now use 1229 Longworth HOB, Washington, DC, 20515. |
