Washington, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar (R-IN) and U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky (D-IN) have joined together for the second year in a row to host a job fair on Saturday, June 16, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Celebrity West Ballroom at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Indiana. The Radisson is located near the intersection of I-65 and U.S. 30.
“We are very excited to join together again to host the Job Fair,” said Senator Lugar and Congressman Visclosky. “This is a great opportunity to connect the people of Northwest Indiana and across the state with the businesses, public agencies, and other organizations that are looking to hire qualified individuals.
The Lugar Visclosky Job Fair will host federal, state and local security and law enforcement agencies, high tech firms, health care organizations, financial institutions, big industry, and various other private and public entities.
