LIBERAL — Congressman Jerry Moran today offered a statement on the death of Lance Corporal Jose S. MarinDominguez Jr., 22, of Liberal. MarinDominguez died on May 14 in Iraq while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province.
MarinDominguez was based out of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, and was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the MarinDominguez family. Jose courageously joined the Marine Corp to protect and serve his fellow Americans. He will forever be remembered as a hero and the sacrifice he has made on our behalf will not be forgotten.”
