MORAN HIRES LEA STUEVE OF OLPE
 

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Jerry Moran today announced that Lea Stueve of Olpe has joined his staff. Stueve will serve as a legislative correspondent in Moran’s Washington, D.C., office. Stueve is a graduate of Olpe High School.

“I am pleased to have Lea returning to my office to serve Kansas citizens,” Moran said. “She will be an asset to our office with her educational background and work experience.”

Stueve completed a spring 2005 fellowship in Moran’s Washington, D.C., office. She is a 2005 graduate of the Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership Program and previously worked for Kansas State Research and Extension in Butler County as a Family and Consumer Science Extension Agent. She also served on the executive board of Leadership Butler County. 

Stueve graduated from Coffeyville Community College, where she was Student Government President and a member of the honors program. She then attended Kansas State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Family Life and Community Services and her master’s degree in Family Life Education and Consultation. While at KSU, she was a founding member of the Kansas State Honor Code Council. 

I am pleased to serve the people of Kansas and Congressman Moran in my new position,” Stueve said. “I am excited to learn about the unique concerns and issues important to the First District and will do my best to help voice them in Washington.”

Lea is the daughter of Carl and Marilyn Stueve of Olpe.
