Amount Requested: - $12,800,000

Funds will be used to construct a new facility for DGS facility, as part of the new missions at the Otis Air National Guard Base.  The Otis Air National Guard base was impacted by BRAC and the 102nd Fighter Wing was converted to an intelligence DGS mission. The conversion has already been approved by the Air Force and National Guard Bureau.  Funds for new equipment to operate the facility are slated to arrive next year.  However the building to support the equipment is needed as soon as possible.  This taxpayer assistance is needed to make sure that the equipment is properly housed and the unit is fully operational as quickly as possible.
