Washington, DC -- Congressman John Sarbanes will be traveling to Greece with his father Senator Paul Sarbanes May 23rd – May 28th. While in Greece, Senator Sarbanes was awarded the Medal of the Grand Cross of the Order of the Phoenix Monday, from the President of Greece Karolos Papoulias.
The Senator will be receiving this award as public acknowledgment of his exceptional achievements in public life. Additionally, the Senator will be receiving an Honorary Doctorate from the Athens University of Law.
