Congressman John Sarbanes Virtual Town Hall Meeting

July 17, 2008

Washington, DC -- Congress John Sarbanes has made constituent outreach a top priority.  “I believe that the best way to represent the Third District in Washington is through an open discussion about the most pressing issues facing America today,” said Congressman Sarbanes.

On Monday, July 21st at 7:20P.M., Congressman Sarbanes will hold a Virtual Town Hall, via telephone, so that he can answer constituents’ questions directly. To participate call 1-866-447-5149 and, when prompted, enter 12965 as your PIN. This number will not be active until Monday, July 21st at 7:20 P.M.  To ask the Congressman a question push “Star 3” on your telephone key pad. The moderator will prompt everyone once the call begins. This is an open call; there is no set agenda or a specific area of focus.

At the end of the call if you did not get a chance to ask the Congressman a question or would rather leave a comment there will be an opportunity to leave a voice message. All messages will receive a response.

If you are unable to participate in the Virtual Town Hall but still wish to share your questions, comments or concerns, please call the district office at 410-832-8890 or contact the Congressman through the website www.sarbanes.house.gov.
