(Washington D.C.)- "Coretta Scott King was a true leader in the Civil Rights movement.  She supported and aided her husband's efforts during his lifetime, and carried on his legacy following his death.  As we begin February, Black History Month, let us not forget Ms. King, or any of the other icons of the civil rights movement, that gave so much of themselves to give so many more the gift of freedom."
