(Washington, D.C.) U.S. Congressman Sam Graves issued the following statement regarding upcoming consideration of an economic stimulus package:

 

“I am encouraged that Congress is working in a bi-partisan manner to provide a shot in the arm to our economy. Helping small businesses create jobs and keeping taxes low should be our number one priority. Our country works the best when Missourians spend more of their own money, rather than giving it to bureaucrats in Washington. Congress needs to act quickly and avoid the type of partisan bickering that has consumed it for too long.”
