Emerson Attending 5-Year Anniversary of USDA-NRCS Water Quality Project – April 09, 2009
WASHINGTON – U.S. Reps. Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will be on hand for the five year anniversary ceremony for the USDA-NRCS South Missouri Water Quality project on Tuesday in Mountain Grove. The event will take place on the Mountain Grove campus of Missouri State University in their conference room.“I’m very pleased the partnership has been in place for five years now, and I’m very proud of the project’s record of service to the people of Southern Missouri,” Emerson said. “Water quality and infrastructure are some of the most important quality-of-life issues a resident of one of our rural counties can face, and this collaboration is paying dividends for our congressional district.”
U.S. Rep. Roy Blunt has also been invited to attend the anniversary event.
