WASHINGTON   –  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will visit the Bismarck Fire Department on Tuesday, March 18, at 3:00 CDT.

“Our first responders take on an incredible responsibility to secure the safety of every member of our community.  Fire services are difficult to provide in rural areas like ours when the local budgets are razor-thin and our firefighters cover a lot of ground,” Emerson said.  “I was proud to support the grant that enabled the Bismarck Fire Department to acquire a new fire truck, and I am looking forward to seeing the vehicle in person – if not taking it for a spin.”
