Emerson to Deliver Fredericktown H.S.
Graduation Address on May 28

WASHINGTON  -  On Friday, May 28, at 7:00 p.m. CDT, U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will deliver the address at Fredericktown High School graduation ceremonies.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to share some thoughts with the graduates as they embark upon their new adventures.  Graduating high school is an accomplishment that opens so many doors for our young men and women in Missouri, and I am proud of all these students for working so hard,” Emerson said.

“There are lots of challenges facing young people in Missouri as they graduate high school.  Part of my message to all young Americans is to register to vote, become knowledgeable about the political process, and then participate in it.  Voting is a right and a duty of all good citizens, and it is an important way of strengthening our democracy for the future.”

The Fredericktown High School Class of 2004 will graduate outdoors on the football field, weather permitting.  The alternate location in case of bad weather is indoors in the high school gymnasium.
