WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) tomorrow will deliver the keynote address to the general meeting of the National Association of Postmasters of the United States (NAPUS) in Branson.
“Postmasters have huge logistical challenges in their service, especially in rural areas of the country. At the same time, they must work closely with other local, state, and federal officials,” Emerson said. “I’m really excited about the opportunity to share some of the things Congress is doing this year to make the job of postmasters easier. I will also enjoy answering questions and getting some feedback from the postmasters present so we can continue our constructive relationship.”
Emerson will give a Washington update focusing on postal reform, followed by a brief question and answer session.
