WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) tomorrow will tour MO Fabricated Products in Caruthersville, MO between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. CDT.
“Manufacturing forms the foundation of our rural economy. The jobs, growth, and community investment of small businesses in Southern Missouri are integral to our economic success. I’m excited to visit MO Fabricated Products and see their operations in action,” Emerson said. “Learning about the companies that keep Missouri working is a major priority as I continue to look for ways to boost the economic expansion in our region.”
Emerson has hosted a series of six economic round tables throughout the Eighth Congressional District over the past months. She is touring a number of agricultural and manufacturing operations in Southern Missouri this August.
“I look forward to the opportunity to talk with the employees and management at MO Fabricated Products about the issues that concern them here at home. At the same time, I am working in Congress to make sure Southern Missouri workers have the skills and training they need to get the jobs they deserve.”
