WASHINGTON  -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) tomorrow will visit the
Bollinger County Nutrition Center in Marble Hill at 11:15 a.m. CDT.  Co-chair of the
Congressional Hunger Center and a leading advocate on hunger issues in the U.S. House of Representatives, Emerson is a leading advocate for nutrition and public health programs.

 

“There are few building blocks in our children’s lives bigger than proper nutrition.  Not only does proper nutrition contribute to health and development, it also helps our children learn better and sustains us in our later years.  The Bollinger County Nutrition Center takes very seriously our commitment to good health in our community,” Emerson said.  “I very much look forward to touring the Nutrition Center in Marble Hill, seeing the facility and meeting the staff there.”
