WASHINGTON  -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will deliver the keynote
speech to the annual meeting of the Houston Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. CST.  The theme of the event, held in the Community Building of the Texas County Fairgrounds, is “Let Our Light Shine.”

 

“Houston has a great deal to be proud of, and I am honored to be the keynote speaker for this year’s annual meeting of the Chamber of Commerce,” Emerson said.  “We possess a great business environment, with great people working for growth here in Southern Missouri.  As we aggressively pursue the economic opportunities around the world, Houston is a valuable center of commerce.  I’m very much looking forward to this event.”
