WASHINGTON  -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will present Transportation Coordination awards to Southeast Missouri Transportation Service (SMTS) employees tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. CST in Fredericktown.

 

“There are so many men and women who dedicate themselves to providing transportation services to the elderly and disabled in our community.  I’m very proud to have the chance to provide them with some recognition for their good work,” Emerson said.  “In Congress, I am committed to the funding of initiatives like SMTS, which are especially important in rural America, but it is the people working on this issue everyday who are really making the difference.”
