WASHINGTON  -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) today toured Cape Girardeau’s new Federal Courthouse, which is in the last stages of construction before its completion.  Prior to the tour, Emerson met with the Government Services Administration regarding the project.

 

“I’m glad to have seen the considerable progress being made on the new Federal Courthouse.  When this building is completed, it will be a structure that will inspire a great deal of pride in Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri,” Emerson said.  “I have worked with GSA throughout the process, and will continue to do so to get the new facility open.  The skilled workers who have put time and sweat into this building should be extremely proud of their craftsmanship.  I certainly am.”
