WASHINGTON  -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will attend the grand opening of the new Cape Girardeau VFW Hall on N. Kingshighway this Saturday, April 2, at 11:00 a.m. CST.

 

“I’m very excited that the Cape Girardeau Veterans of Foreign Wars has a new home,” Emerson said.  “These are brave veterans who not only served our country in uniform; they continue to serve our country every day in the form of community service through this fine organization.  To me, that is the true mark of a patriot.  I hope the new home of the VFW serves as a central command post for the continued involvement of these veterans in Cape Girardeau.”
