WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) today announced that the Millersville Post Office will reopen on Saturday, April 23, 2005, according to U.S. Postal Service officials.
The new location of the facility is adjacent to the Millersville Fire Station at 120 County Road 482 and the phone number for the Post Office is (573) 243-6105.
“I’m very pleased that we have set a concrete date for the reopening of the Post Office. It has been a long time coming, but I believe this issue is finally resolved,” Emerson said. “Reliable postal service is paramount in rural areas. Millersville deserves a Post Office it can count on, and I am so glad we have a permanent facility dedicated to the postal business of Millersville area residents. I also appreciate the responsiveness of Sylvester Black, Western Area Vice President for the U.S. Postal Service, in this matter.”
The Millersville Post Office will keep the following hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to noon; 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. |
