WASHINGTON  -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will visit Ripley County on Tuesday as part of her 24th Annual Emerson Farm Tour.  Emerson will visit and tour Raincrow Ranch for an emphasis on American Grass-Fed Beef from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. CDT.

 

“Our ranchers work long, hard hours to ensure the welfare of their livestock.  I look forward to discussing how I can work in Congress to find new and stable markets for their high-quality products.  We have a difficult task ahead of us to implement Country-of-Origin-Labeling in a commonsense way and establish the best possible measures against bovine diseases.  On ranches all across Missouri, these concerns are directly related to a viable future beef industry,” Emerson said.
