WASHINGTON  -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will provide a congressional update at the monthly meeting of the Southeast Missouri Human Resources Association tomorrow, April 11, 2006, starting at 1:00 p.m. CDT.

 

“It is always good to meet with professional members of the business community who deal with our talented Southern Missouri workforce every day.  As we work together to find and create more opportunities for workers in our region, the ideas and opinions of our human resources experts are invaluable,” Emerson said.  “I look forward to a productive discussion about pension reform, economic development, continuing education and the business environment in Southern Missouri.  The questions and comments I get at events such as this one are very important as I take the concerns of our district with me to Washington, DC.”
