WASHINGTON  -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will visit St. Vincent’s
Catholic School in Cape Girardeau on Friday, April 13, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. CDT.  For the first half hour, Emerson will read to a 2nd Grade class.  Then, Emerson will address an assembly of 6th, 7th and 8th Grade students.

“I always get excited about reading with students and speaking about the importance of leadership and good citizenship.  We have to remember that our young students are building a foundation of learning which they will use to inform their service to our community in the future,” said Emerson.  “I look forward to meeting with students at St. Vincent’s School on Friday and talking about the issues which are important to them.”
