WASHINGTON   -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will visit the University of Missouri-Rolla for a luncheon and tour of new value-added agriculture opportunities on Monday, August 27, at noon CDT on the 26th Annual Emerson Farm Tour.

“The faculty, staff and students at University of Missouri-Rolla do an important job, and a difficult one, by researching innovative ways to use the abundant agriculture of our region in processes and products.  They’re truly inventors who bring a wealth of expertise and exciting opportunities to the agricultural and manufacturing industries of Southern Missouri,” Emerson said.  “I’m very much looking forward to seeing the latest from Dr. Virgil Flanagan and the rest of the excellent researchers at the University on Monday.”
