WASHINGTON   -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will visit St. James Winery in St. James on Monday at 10:00 a.m. CDT as part of the 26th Annual Emerson Farm Tour.

“Southern Missouri is really starting to lead the way in specialized regional products that come from our abundant agriculture.  I am extremely excited to see how the St. James Winery is carving a niche not only in the wine industry, but also in our beautiful region’s travel and tourism sector,” Emerson said. “I’ll welcome a discussion of the Farm Bill, economic development and all the other issues facing Phelps County producers on Monday.  This is an important year for farmers, ranchers, and every American who uses agricultural inputs in businesses throughout Southern Missouri.”
