WASHINGTON   -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will attend the Scott County Farm Bureau Dinner in Sikeston on Wednesday, August 29, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. CDT on the 26th Annual Emerson Farm Tour.

“We have a tremendous, diverse region when it comes to agricultural production.  our farmers and ranchers face special challenges and overcome them, they get hit with natural disasters and persevere.  I look forward to a discussion with Farm Bureau members about how we can continue to assure that Congress is responsive to the needs of the farming and ranching community, as well as the great many businesses in Southern Missouri which depend on reliable, affordable agriculture inputs,” Emerson said.
