WASHINGTON   -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will speak at the Cape Girardeau Community Crusade for Children on Thursday, August 30, at 7:00 p.m. CDT.

“Our children are our community’s most precious resource.  I really look forward to this event, and I thank the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Girardeau for their tireless efforts and unflinching focus on the well-being of the youngest members of our society,” Emerson said. “This is a special event for a special reason, because so many people and organizations participate in the lives of our young people, community-based, faith-based, inside and outside the family, and they all deserve recognition for their positive work.”
