WASHINGTON   -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will tour Natural BioDiesel in Pemiscot County on Thursday, August 30, at 2:00 p.m. CDT on the 26th Annual Emerson Farm Tour.

“Alternative fuels are the way we get fuel from our fields and make America an energy secure nation.  Many factors that play into our consumption of foreign sources of fuels – national security, economic security, foreign policy – and our reliance on unstable regimes for oil is really a dangerous thing for our nation.  Efforts here in the heartland to break that dependence on foreign oil are very important, and it is equally urgent that Congress support the mission of companies like Natural BioDiesel,” Emerson said.  “I look forward to touring this facility and learning more about its operation.”
