WASHINGTON   -  U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) will speak at the ribbon cutting for the Career and Technology Center Annex in Cape Girardeau on Friday, August 31 at 1:30 p.m. CDT.

“Job training is fundamental to our competitiveness in the heartland’s economy, the American economy, and the global economy.  Efforts to build organizations like the Career and Technology Center are central to the effort to continue the long and great tradition of lifelong learning in Southern Missouri,” Emerson said. “I am very excited for the expansion of this Center and I want to congratulate all of the hardworking men and women who made this success possible.”
