Washington, D.C. - On Tuesday, January 13, U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre will be in Columbus County to continue his Economic Development Listening and Action tour for Southeastern North Carolina. McIntyre will be meeting with business people, community leaders, and elected officials to discuss the economy and talk about ways to help citizens and communities secure economic opportunities for all. This is the third in a series of events that Congressman McIntyre will have all over Southeastern North Carolina to hear first-hand about concerns and specific ideas from local leaders to help re-ignite the economy. McIntyre’s schedule for the 13th in Columbus County includes: 9:30-11:00 a.m. – Economic roundtable discussion at Southeastern Community College, 4564 Chadbourn Highway, Building T- Room 101, with local business leaders, elected officials, and community leaders 11:15-12:15 p.m.—Lunch at the Columbus County Economic Development Commission office, Dempsey B. Herring Courthouse Annex, 112 West Smith Street |
