McIntyre Announces $2.3 Million in Law Enforcement Funds
Washington, D.C. - U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre announced today that communities and counties all across Southeastern North Carolina will receive a total of $2,342,301 in federal funds to help fight crime.
These funds are provided from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and will allow states, counties, and local governments to support a broad range of activities to prevent and control crime and improve the criminal justice system.
Congressman McIntyre stated, “These federal funds will help keep our homes, businesses, and neighborhoods safe. It is critical to do all we can to keep our communities moving forward in a safe and secure environment, and it is good to see our taxpayer dollars making a difference.”
