McIntyre To Serve in Dual Leadership Roles
Washington, D.C. - U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre has been selected to serve in two leadership roles for the 111th Congress.
McIntyre was selected by Majority Leader Steny Hoyer to serve on the Majority Leader’s Advisory Council, and he has been selected by Majority Whip Jim Clyburn to be a Senior Whip. In these leadership roles, McIntyre will help both Hoyer and Clyburn gather support for legislation, policy, and issues that meet the needs of the American people.
Congressman McIntyre stated, “I am honored to have a seat at both leadership tables to make sure that the citizens and families of Southeastern North Carolina voices are heard. We have challenging times ahead of us, and working together we can meet them.”
McIntyre is now beginning his seventh term in the U.S. House.
