    Bladen Economic Development Listening and Action Tour

    Washington, D.C. - On Wednesday December 17, U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre will be in Bladen County to kick-off his Economic Development Listening and Action tour for Southeastern North Carolina.  McIntyre will be meeting with business people, community leaders, and elected officials to discuss the economy and talk about ways to help citizens and communities secure economic opportunities for all.  This is the first in a series of events that Congressman McIntyre will have all over Southeastern North Carolina to hear first-hand about concerns and specific ideas from local business leaders to help re-ignite the economy.

    McIntyre’s schedule for the 17th will include the following events:

    10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Economic development roundtable discussion at Bladen Community College, 7418 NC Highway 41 West, Dublin, Roundtable discussion will be held in the  Auditorium

    12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. – Lunch with North Carolina’s Southeast – The Regional Economic Development Marketing Organization for Southeastern North Carolina

    1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.  – Visit Danaher Company, 2100 W. Broad Street in Elizabethtown and Delton Gun Company, 218B Aviation Parkway in Bladen’s Bloomin Agri-Industrial Park
