REP. MYRICK JOINED BY BUDGET CHAIRMAN NUSSLE ON NEW CABLE SHOW EPISODE

(Washington, D.C.) – Today, Rep. Sue Myrick (NC-9) announced that a new episode of her cable show “Sue Myrick on the Issues” will run in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area on Tuesday, June 7th and June 21st at 6:30pm on Charlotte-Mecklenburg Access 21.  The show will run in Gaston County on Sunday, June 12th and Sunday, June 26th at 9:00am and 9:00pm on Gaston County Access Channel 16.  The show will also run in Union County every Monday and Wednesday at 8:00pm during the month of June on Union Time Warner Cable Channel 9.   

 This episode focuses on how the Congressional Budget is formed, what is in the Budget for next year, and why it is important to have a strong budget.  Rep. Myrick’s guest for this episode is U.S. Representative Jim Nussle of Iowa.  Rep. Nussle is the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, where he has drafted budgets and steered them through Congress.  He is an expert in the budget process and has done an excellent job this year in pushing through a tough budget that cuts federal spending.
